FREESTYLE
Freestyle Dance is at the heart of Spellbound! It offers students the opportunity to learn a variety of styles including Freestyle, Jazz, Lyrical & Street. Students in these classes are also encouraged to develop strength, stamina and flexibility. IDTA examinations are offered to Freestyle students!

BALLET
Ballet is a key component to all dance styles and is a classical subject taken by many of our students. Our Ballet classes offer students the opportunity to learn classical Ballet technique in fun classes. IDTA examinations are offered to all Ballet students.

ACRO
Acrobatic Dance is a fusion of Gymnastics and Dance! In these classes, students are able to learn a variety of new skills as well as building exciting routines and partner work. We have state of the art equipment including our TUMBLING TRACK! IDTA examinations are offered to Acrobatic Dance students.

TAP
Tap is a unique dance style where the emphasis is on SOUND! In Tap, we wear specialist shoes to produce sounds to create fun routines often with influences from Jazz Dance. These classes are loads of fun and also teach great musicality. IDTA examinations are offered to all Tap students.

CHEERLEADING
Cheerleading is a fun and energetic dance style made popular in the USA! These dances are made up by tumbling, lifts, pom dance and chants. We offer both recreational Cheerleading and competitive Cheerleading to our students with opportunities to take IDTA examinations too.

CONTEMPORARY
Contemporary Dance is a blend of Ballet and Modern. This style offers students the chance to express themselves and their emotions through music and movement. At Spellbound, we LOVE Contemporary and it is one of our most popular subjects in the school.

SPELLBINDERS
Spellbinders is our Performance Team who train throughout the year to perform at some of the country's top performing arts venues! We are delighted to be taking the team in 2023 to perform at Blackpool Opera House in November.

JAZZ DANCE
Jazz Dance is a high-energy dance style which is fun and energetic in it's performance. It is normally performed to brass and woodwind music and has a traditional feel. Our Jazz Dance classes offer students the chance to explore various styles of Jazz and learn creative routines.

MT
Musical Theatre encompasses acting, singing and dancing in one class! Students in our Musical Theatre classes are able to explore scripts, songs, poems and monologues from various famous shows and musicals. Our Musical Theatre students are able to take IDTA examinations.

STREET
Street Dance is a funky dance style incorporating Hip-Hip, Body Popping and so much more! Our Street classes are taught by expert Street Dancer, Kian! All students in our Street Dance class are offered the opportunity to take IDTA examinations.

MAGICAL MOVERS
Magical Movers is our pre-school dance class where we introduce the youngest of children to the world of dance! These classes are fun and relaxed offering your little one the chance to discover dance through storytelling and props. These classes are suitable for children aged 2-4.
